Our Pastor

Rev. Quentin J. Morris, Sr., M. Div

Pastor Quentin J. Morris, Sr. is a dedicated servant of God, a devoted husband and father, a community leader, and a visionary shepherd. A native of Talladega, Alabama, Pastor Morris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris. He received his early education in the Talladega County public school system and later attended Alabama State University. Answering a greater call to service, he served six years in the United States Army with honor and discipline.

His educational journey in ministry includes a Master of Divinity from Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama, and a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry with a minor in Counseling Psychology from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. These academic foundations have equipped him to lead with wisdom, compassion, and spiritual insight.

Pastor Morris has faithfully served in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President of the First District of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc. (GMBC), Moderator of the Ludowici District of the Tattnall Missionary Baptist Association, and certified Dean and teacher for the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Congress of Christian Education. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., where he continues to serve as a community advocate and mentor to young men and families in need.

His spiritual roots trace back to Macedonia Baptist Church in Talladega under the late Rev. Moses C. Jones, and he answered the call to preach in 1998 under Rev. M.L. Jackson of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville, Georgia. He received further ministerial training under the Rev. Dr. Sinclair Thorne at First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Over the years, Pastor Morris has faithfully led several congregations, including Mt. Moriah M.B. Church (Manassas, GA), Macedonia M.B. Church (Ludowici, GA), and First African Baptist Church (St. Simons Island, GA). In March 2012, he was divinely appointed as the sixth pastor of Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah, GA, where the motto “Family First and God is EVERYTHING!” continues to shape the heart of the ministry.

Since his pastoral installation, Tremont Temple has experienced revitalization, spiritual recommitment, and rapid growth. Under his leadership, the church continues to walk boldly in its vision of “Reaching, Teaching, Saving, and Serving.” Pastor Morris is known for his passionate preaching, sound doctrine, and unwavering dedication to the Word of God. His ministry bridges the gap between generations, uplifts families, and builds strong community ties through prayer, outreach, and genuine love.

A family man at heart, Pastor Morris cherishes time with his wife of 25 years,  Lady "Mo" Morris, and their four children: DaQuendra, Quiana, Quentin Jr., and Malachi. His life’s mission is simple yet powerful: to glorify God, strengthen families, and make disciples who will impact the world.
